Variant Management

What is it?

“Variant Management” is a tool that allows users to create, save, and use predefined sets of filters and display parameters. It enables quick switching between different data display configurations depending on the task or work context.

Each variant represents a saved set of settings that may include selected filters and their values, column order and width, sorting and grouping parameters, and other interface elements. This helps adapt the data view to individual preferences or team workflows.

The “Variant Management” button is located in the left corner of the filter bar and works in conjunction with the “Record Count” element, which shows the number of displayed rows according to the current filter conditions.

Depending on the application and type of data, the configuration of variants may differ. For example, in task tables, you can save sets of filters by status or assignee, while in analytical sections, you can store grouping and period settings.

Users can load, modify, delete, and save variants, add them to favorites, make them public for other system members, or set a default variant that will be applied each time the application is opened.
