What is this?

"Project Category" is a feature that allows you to edit existing and create custom project classifications based on the specifics of your work.

If the standard options do not accurately reflect your project’s purpose, you can add a new category with a unique name, description, and icon. This helps to structure projects more precisely, simplify filtering, and make the interface clearer.

How to change a project category or add a new one

Click the Edit icon next to the field. A window will open displaying all available values. System-defined categories are marked with a blue indicator — these cannot be edited or deleted.

To create a custom category, click Add.

Enter a name, and optionally provide a description and icon. After saving, the new category will appear in the list and become available for selection. It can be modified or removed at any time.

Multilingual support is also available: you can add translations for all languages enabled in the project’s interface settings. This is especially useful for international projects.
