Default Values

What is this?

"Default Values" is a settings section that allows you to define standard values for various fields when creating tasks within a project. These settings help speed up the task creation process and ensure consistency and compliance with predefined criteria.

To change the default values, click the Edit button to enter edit mode. All fields in this section are customizable:

Configurable Default Parameters

Text — enter a word or phrase to be automatically included at the beginning of each task title.

Start text with — select the parameter to appear at the beginning of the task title.

Task Status, Task Type, Task Priority — set the default values to be assigned to new tasks.

Assignee and Reporter — specify the default person responsible for tasks and the default creator.

Due Date and Estimate (Seconds) — define the default deadline and time estimate for tasks.

Label, Component, Version — specify values to be automatically added to tasks.

Story Points — set the default story point value to be assigned to new tasks.
