Timesheets vs Calendar vs Table
What is this?
The "Timesheet" module supports several display modes, each designed for a specific type of work with timesheets. Switching between them allows users to choose the most convenient format.
"Timesheets" Mode
This mode is ideal for a visual overview of logged entries. Records are grouped by a selected criterion — such as project or user — and displayed by day, week, or month. A color-coded legend helps you navigate the data and quickly identify relevant information.
Clicking on an entry opens a detailed window where you can view or edit its contents.
Use the "Timesheets" mode when you need an overview of how working time is distributed across employees, projects, or tasks.
"Calendar" Mode
This mode displays work logs on a timeline for the selected period: day, week, or month. The date navigator allows flexible switching between time intervals. Each entry shows the project, task, and description, and can be opened with a click. Grouping and the color legend function the same as in "Timesheets," enabling a visual assessment of workload distribution over time.
Use the "Calendar" mode if you prefer a visual timeline layout and want to quickly assess daily availability and workload.
"Table" Mode
This mode is best for working with a list of entries. All data is presented in a table, where each row represents a single work log with key details: date, time, task, and project. The table can be customized — columns can be added or hidden — and entries can be sorted by any field.
Clicking on a task name, project, or user name opens the corresponding linked object.
Use the "Table" mode when working with large volumes of entries, comparing data, or performing detailed analysis and sorting.
