Sorting in the Filter Panel
What is it?
“Sorting” in the Filter Bar is a tool that allows you to configure the order in which data is displayed using dedicated sorting parameters available directly from the Filter Bar. It is used to manage the sequence of items on a page without manually modifying the data or switching to other settings.
In most applications, sorting is available through the “Sort” button located on the right side of the Filter Bar.
After clicking the button, a configuration window opens where you can:
select one or several fields to sort by;
specify the sorting order — ascending or descending;
change the sorting priority by moving fields up or down using buttons or the Drag & Drop function.
If multiple sorting conditions are added, the system applies them sequentially according to the specified order.
In some applications, the sorting function may be combined with the “Settings” button, which is also located on the right side of the Filter Bar.
In this case, sorting is configured in the “Sorting” tab within the settings window. Here, you can choose the fields, define sorting directions, and confirm the changes by clicking OK.
