Meetings vs Open Items vs Meeting Minutes

What’s the difference?

Meetings — This module is for planning and conducting collaborative sessions.
Here, you create calendar events, invite participants, set agendas, and define time slots.
Meetings appear in the calendar and serve as the foundation for team collaboration. After a meeting concludes, you can document its outcomes as minutes — but this is optional. A meeting may exist without an associated minute.

Open Items — This module manages active agenda topics that require discussion or resolution.
It tracks the status of each item, responsible assignees, and deadlines. You can filter by project, status, assignee, and other criteria. The module can be accessed directly or via shortcuts like "Agendas Opened by Me" and "My Open Agendas", which apply pre-set filters (e.g., items where you are responsible or the author).

Meeting Minutes — This module captures the official outcomes of meetings.
Each minute includes agenda items, discussion goals, and final decisions.
Minutes are typically created after a meeting, but they can also be generated independently. All minutes are stored in a central list — even if the original meeting was removed from the calendar. In such cases, the minute is moved to the "Deactivated" tab and can be restored if needed.
