Member Roles

What is this?

"Member Roles" are a set of permissions that define what actions a user can perform within a project. They help distribute responsibilities and manage participants' access levels to tasks and other project data.

Each project member can be assigned only one role. When assigning roles, you can select multiple users and assign them the same role.

Role Descriptions

Role Name	Description
Time Manager	Can view logged time for the project, but has no access to tasks.
Observer	Can view project tasks, but cannot modify them.
Assignee	Can create and edit tasks where they are listed as the assignee.
Reporter	Can create and edit tasks they have created (as reporter).
Assignee or Reporter	Can edit tasks where they are listed as either assignee or reporter.
User	Can edit tasks where they are listed as assignee or reporter. Can view all project tasks.
Project Lead	Can create and edit any task in the project.
Manager	Has full access to all project tasks and timesheets of all team members.
