Columns

What is this?

"Columns" is one of the key blocks in board setup. They define the visual structure and logic for distributing tasks on the board.

Columns are vertical sections into which tasks are automatically placed based on specific filters. This helps visually track task progress and quickly see the current stage of each task.

Column Types

In the dropdown list, you can select one of the available types by which columns will be created.
By default, the type "Statuses" is selected, creating three basic columns: "To Do", "In Progress", "Done".
You can choose a different type if it better suits your needs (e.g., by priority or assignee), provided such options are configured in the system.

Setup and Editing

You can add, delete, and rename columns.

To change the column order, click "Change column layout". You can adjust the order using Drag&Drop.

To populate columns, assign filter values (depending on the selected column type). To do this, drag the required items from the list on the left into the appropriate column.

Example: If "Statuses" is selected, you will see a list of all statuses available in the project. You can distribute them across columns to visually reflect your team’s business processes.
