Saving

How to save a variant?

Let’s go through the process of saving a variant using the Time Tracking (URV) Table application as an example.

Before saving a variant, you need to configure the filters and data display settings.
You can select the desired period, apply filters by projects, assignees, or other parameters, and set the sorting order of records.

Saving a new variant

After completing the configuration, open Variant Management. In the opened window, select “Save As” and enter a name for the new variant.

Additionally, you can:

  • Set the variant as default, so it opens automatically every time you access the application.

  • Make the variant public, so other users can view and use it.

Then click “Save” to complete the process.

Saving changes to the current variant

If you make changes to the filters or sorting in an already saved variant, a red indicator will appear next to its name, signaling that modifications have been made.

To save these changes, open Variant Management and click “Save”.

Saving table settings

You can save not only filters and sorting, but also the table configuration, including added columns, their order, and width.

To do this, configure the table as desired, then open Variant Management and click “Save As”.
Enter a name for the variant and, if necessary, make it public or set it as default.
