Workflow
What is this?
"Workflow" is a set of statuses and transitions between them that reflect all stages in the lifecycle of a task — from creation to completion. Status schemes allow flexible process control and provide clear visibility into the current stage of each task.
If a project uses the "Custom" project scheme, you can manually edit statuses and transitions. In all other cases, only viewing the predefined status scheme is available.
How to Add a Status Scheme
To create your own status scheme, open the "Workflow" section and click the "Add" button.
If necessary, you can define task types for the project in the Task Types tab. In the window that opens, select the task type to which the scheme will be applied, or choose Any type. Set From Status (the initial task status) and add one or more possible transitions from this status (To Status):
You can define multiple transitions from a single status, and you can also create a new status directly within the editing window by clicking the "Edit" button next to the field.
How to Add a New Status
In edit mode, click "Add" to create a new status.
In the form that appears, fill in the mandatory "Status" field and select an appropriate "Status Category" from the list. Optionally, add a description, and assign an icon and its color.
If a status from the "Done" category is selected, an additional field — "Task Resolution Status" — appears. This can only be set for final statuses.
The saved status will appear in the general list. You can modify or delete it at any time (except for system statuses marked with a blue indicator).
Multilingual support is also available — you can add localized names for all languages enabled in the interface.
