PWA on Desktop
What is this?
PWA on desktop allows you to use the system as a standalone application.
PWA does not work in incognito mode — you must use the browser’s standard mode.
Some older or alternative browser versions may not support PWA installation. It is recommended to use up-to-date versions of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on Windows, Linux, and macOS, and Safari on macOS. Firefox does not support installing PWA in a separate window.
How to Install PWA
Open the web application in a supported browser. In the address bar or browser menu, select "Install app" or "Add to desktop" (in Safari on macOS: "File" → "Add to Dock").
Example in Microsoft Edge on Windows:
After installation, the PWA will create a separate window and add a shortcut to the desktop or taskbar for quick access.
How to Remove PWA
To uninstall PWA from your computer, go to the browser’s settings or management menu and look for the "Remove" button.
Example in Microsoft Edge on Windows:
The removal process may vary slightly depending on the browser and operating system, but generally involves finding the "Remove" or "Uninstall" option in the app menu or browser settings.
You can also remove PWA from the list of installed applications in your operating system, just like any regular application.
