Variant Management

What is it?

“Variant Management” is a feature that allows users to create predefined sets of filters and display settings. Each variant includes selected filters and their values, sorting and grouping settings, column widths and order, as well as other interface parameters necessary for convenient data presentation.

The Variant Management button is located in the left corner of the Filter Bar and works in conjunction with the Record Count element, which displays the number of rows shown according to the current filters.

Depending on the application and type of data, variant settings may differ. A variant is one of the sets you create, enabling quick switching between different display configurations.

Variant Management allows users to load, save, modify, and delete variants. You can add variants to favorites, make them public for other users, or set a variant as the default, which will be applied each time the application is opened.

If you have multiple variants that you use frequently, creating and saving them allows for fast switching between different data views.
