Desktop

What is this?

"Desktop" is an application that organizes shortcuts and folders into convenient groups. It allows you to quickly launch applications, open specific pages, or navigate to folders. The Desktop can be easily customized to fit your organization’s needs, and each user with access can further personalize it according to their preferences.

At the top of the Desktop are control elements:

  • Top menu and search bar:

  • List of available spaces, notification icon, help system, and user avatar:

  • Navigation buttons for going back or switching to recently opened applications:

The search function helps you quickly find the required application by name. The spaces list allows you to switch between different workspaces available to the user. The help system opens documentation in the "Wikipedia" module, and the user avatar provides access to additional actions (e.g., editing the Desktop, changing personal settings, or navigating to the "Spaces" module).

The main area is occupied by shortcut groups. You can manually switch between groups by selecting the desired one from the panel and opening it.

Each group contains a shortcut with a name, icon, and description. Applications are launched by clicking the shortcut — this opens them in the current tab. To open an application in a new tab, click its icon. A question mark icon is also displayed on the shortcut; clicking it opens the corresponding article in the "Wikipedia" module.
